Guild · Morrigan & the Underworld

Necromancers

Death is not an end. It is an inheritance.

Necromancers are not cackling grave-robbers. The serious ones are archivists of endings, terrible because they understand that memory can be made to stand up and obey.

Class Fantasy

The dead are not gone. They are unconsulted.

Necromancers study death as continuity, not conclusion. Their art binds corpse, memory, and spirit, and Morbis remembers every bargain. Their threat rises irreversibly and the clerics never stop watching. A path forbidden to the Dryad.

They harvest bodies, bind servants, rot enemy strength, and win by making the battlefield increasingly unfair with every death.

Their Threat Index rises fast and rarely falls cleanly. Morbis may tolerate the work; the living rarely do.
